Be responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the processes needed for the QMS.
Establish and supervise quality control and assurance activities (product inspection, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP and etc).
Supervise the Quality Department personnel, activities and resources including testing, supplier quality, customer quality, process quality, development quality and quality assurance.
Define, implement and manage the Quality Management System and the Environment Management System in accordance with established standards.
Improvement of quality awareness and focus with the organization by training and coaching teams in the use of quality tools such as statistics, problem solving, failure mode analysis and product quality planning.
Promote Customer satisfaction/success and manage quality-related issues with customers;
Manage quality-related issues with suppliers (in line with the corresponding internal/corporate purchasing department and PQ).
Develops and implements a systematic procedure to evaluate supplier quality systems, identifying gaps and establishing corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement for quality-related issues / processes; evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of the quality.
Communicate and promote cooperation with all other Plants or Departments in order to share experiences (know-how transfer) and to achieve quality targets.
Organize training concerning quality assurance, quality control and environmental management for all employees. |
