  Responsibilities:  
     
     
 

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be based in Shanghai, China, supporting both China and Hong Kong. This role is responsible for managing the overall IT infrastructure, its related services and maintenance support to ensure that their performances meet business expectations and technical requirements. The role is also responsible for the planning and management of new and upgrading IT infrastructure projects in support of business expansion and necessary upgrades from time to time. The immediate priority of the role will be developing project plans to support the new manufacturing plant facilities currently being built.

This role will report to the Regional Infrastructure Service Manager and dotted line to Regional Infrastructure Director.

Manage the IT Infrastructure teams in China/HK (around 20 employees).
Work closely with Global/Regional Infrastructure Director and local business management to develop budget and project plans to support IT infrastructure expansion in accordance with the business expansion plan.
Regular reporting to local stakeholders, regional and global IT Management on project progress and spends against plan.
Engage with internal IT team and business managers to understand business needs; and appropriately propose and plan for the required IT infrastructure and support services.
Develop and manage IT budget, costs and their related reporting.
Manage IT vendors and contracts to ensure effective contract compliance and performance targets and expectations are met .

 
     
     
  Requirements:  
     
     
 

Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of IT infrastructure related working experience with good working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Telecommunications, Server Management, IT operations & service management and disaster recovery management.
Experience in IT project management is essential.
Professional certification in ITIL and network communications are added advantages.
Proven experience of managing a team of technical functional staff.
Proficiency in both Mandarin and English are essential.
