Our client, a multinational logistic corporation, is currently seeking an experienced General Manager, GCA (Great China Area) Sales to be based in their Shanghai Office. | ||
Responsibilities: | ||
Lead and manage the area sales resources to ensure the delivery of the area freight forwarding growth ambitions. Manage and develop all strategic aspects of area sales, ensuring a robust and strong market presence in the international forwarder market. Generate and maintain market intelligence in respect of the forwarding market within the area and provide area specific feedback to global sales and marketing initiatives. In conjunction with HR define, develop and implement a sales training concept for different levels of sales people and sales skills. Organize, coach, challenge and develop all direct reports. |

Requirements: | ||
Strong customer orientation with ability to anticipate customer expectation in an international environment. Open and positive with strong communication skills. Excellent sales leadership and management skills. Strong analytical and negotiation skills . Strategic and creative thinking. Be able to formulate sales concepts and ensuring implementation. Must have had international exposure, ideally worked abroad . Have a senior presence and ability to engage on corporate Director / Vice President levels with clients as well as internally. Proven sales and management record on high level. 7 years or above experience in SALES management. Command in English verbally and in writing. Knowledge of the China business and logistics market. |
