Responsibilities: | ||
Develop and structure a proactive, responsive, and effective supply chain function that is a competitive advantage for the business. Lead the formulation and review of Asia Pacific Supply Chain strategy, taking a complete view of the ¡°cradle to grave¡± supply chain all the way through distributors and to end customers. Understand and promote the linkage between business and supply chain activities, through active participates in business strategy and sales operations planning discussions, and by helping develop new ideas/models for deployment. Lead all supply chain function staff and activities to operate as a team to accomplish business objectives and execute core activities. Build and maintain cross-functional relationships in all parts of the organization. Drive change (through and including Lean Enterprise initiatives) and influence management decision-making on strategic business issues. Lead the team to continuously improve systems and processes to reduce ¡°waste¡± and improve service levels to customers. |

Requirements: | ||
At least 7 years of experience with at least 3 years as a director (or manager from a strong, complex supply chain environment). Have a working knowledge of MRP-II and administrative knowledge of cost accounting, general accounting, budgeting and forecasting (sales and production). Have gained prior experience in an organization known for its supply chain competency and have a proven track record of strategic thinking and advanced supply chain concepts. Have prior successful experience and knowledge with supply chain metrics. Have a sound educational background, with a college degree and 7-10 years experience in materials and manufacturing management. Ideally with some specialization in operations planning. CPIM certification by APICS is a plus. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Self-starters and have a hands-on approach and a strong ¡°can-do¡± attitude. Good communication skills in English, and preferably Mandarin. |
