  Our client is a leading US company in certification/approval industry.  
     
     
  Responsibilities:  
     
     
  Strategic Leadership-Creating and achieving a desired future state (vision) through influence on company values, individual and group goals, reinforcements and systems.
Overall Responsibility for driving Portal business through the establishment of a direct sales team as well as other indirect channels.
Building and executing a sustainable business plan to achieve 2009 targets as well as long term success in the region.
Analysis/Problem Assessment-Securing relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a knowledge base, relating and comparing data from different sources;identifying cause-effect relationships.
Organizational Awareness-Having and using knowledge of systems, situations, pressures, and culture within the company to identify potential organizational problems and opportunities; perceiving the impact and the implications of decisions on other components of the company as well as the impact on clients and suppliers.
 
     
     
  Requirements:

Working & Communicating Effectively in a Matrixed Organization.
10 to 15 years of sales and marketing experience with at least 3 years in Certification fields.
Undergraduate degree required; masters degree preferred.
Experience in developing and executing strategy and growth plans for new products & services and new market applications with existing & new customers.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
