  Our Client is a leading chemical company.  
     
     
  Responsibilities:  
     
     
 

Support all other functions to achieve high level of SSHE performance by providing training and coaching.
Leads discussions and actions on SSHE positive measures as required by the company.
Liaises with Authorities on SSHE matters.
Co-ordinate internal and external SSHE audits and ensure that post audit actions to achieve compliance are taken.
Ensure that all incidents are reported, investigated and follow up actions are implemented.
Leads regular review of SSHE procedures, and ensure their compliance.
Leads SSHE promotion and publicity.
Leads Hazop study.
Report SSHE performance to Asia required.
Responsible for routine quality/environment management work, reporting to the GM on quality /environment system operational performance for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality/environment system.
Responsible for establishing and executing and maintaining the quality/environment management document system, co-ordinate all departments to control the system documentation and materials properly, monitor quality/environment record keeping and preservation.
Organize internal audits and management reviews.
Organize reviews on serious quality/environment problems; monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Responsible for quality/environment system related issues, and liaison with liaison parties.

To do the job fully and well, the incumbent must be conversant with the installation, the SSHE system of work and the influencing skills in order to deliver the results.
The jobholder is expected to possess exemplary initiatives to create behavioral changes among the shop floor staff in order to achieve the aspirations of the company.
SSHE requirements are fast changing. The SSHE manager must keep up with the new legislation of the country and the new initiatives of the company.
The jobholder needs to interact and work with all levels of staff within the company. Externally, the main contacts will be the regulatory authorities.
The jobholder must have tertiary education, with a minimum of four years of relevant post graduate working experience.
